New heart pacing technique aims to improve outcomes for patients with slow heartbeat
NCT ID NCT07217392
First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated Jun 05, 2026 · Updated 33 times
Summary
This study is testing a new way to pace the heart called left bundle branch area pacing (LBBAP) in 200 people who need a pacemaker for conditions like slow heartbeat or heart failure. The goal is to see if this method is safe and works better than standard pacing over 6 months. Researchers will check for complications like infection or lead problems, and measure how well the heart responds to the pacing.
