First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated Jun 12, 2026 · Updated 25 times

Summary

This study tests whether adding low-level laser therapy to a home exercise program can reduce pain and improve knee function in people over 50 with knee osteoarthritis. It also looks at whether the treatment can help reverse muscle loss around the knee. Sixty-two participants will be randomly assigned to receive either exercise alone or exercise plus laser therapy for two weeks, with follow-ups at one and three months.
