First seen Apr 19, 2026 · Last updated May 12, 2026 · Updated 4 times
Summary
This study tested whether low-level laser therapy can speed up the healing of dental implants and improve the health of the surrounding gum tissue. Twenty healthy adults who needed a dental implant received either laser treatment or standard care. The researchers measured bone loss, implant stability, and bone density over six months to see if the laser made a difference.
