First seen Jan 09, 2026 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 20 times

Summary

This study tests whether giving a steroid injection to the knee that is not being operated on can reduce pain and improve function for people undergoing total knee replacement. About 60 adults with knee osteoarthritis will receive either the injection or a placebo before surgery. The goal is to see if this approach leads to better recovery and less discomfort.
