First seen Jun 25, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026 · Updated 2 times

Summary

This Phase 2 trial tests whether a paste made with ejiao (a traditional Chinese ingredient) can reduce knee pain in people with osteoarthritis. Sixty adults with knee pain will use either the ejiao paste, a similar paste without ejiao, or a synthetic control. The study aims to see if the ejiao paste provides extra pain relief over 12 weeks.
