Summary
This study tested a treatment for knee osteoarthritis using cells from the patient's own fat (stromal vascular fraction). Sixteen people with moderate knee arthritis received an injection into the knee and were followed for 10 years to check safety and any lasting benefits. The goal was to see if this approach could ease pain and improve knee function over the long term.
