New study: can a Gravity-Defying treadmill beat supplements for knee pain?
NCT ID NCT07399743
First seen Feb 15, 2026 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 9 times
Summary
This study looks at two different ways to help overweight women with knee osteoarthritis feel better and move easier. One method uses a special treadmill that takes weight off the knees, while the other uses dietary supplements (alpha lipoic acid and omega-3 fatty acids). The goal is to see which approach works best for reducing pain and improving daily function. About 160 women aged 20-45 will take part.
