First seen Feb 14, 2026 · Last updated May 13, 2026 · Updated 10 times

Summary

This study tests whether a single injection combining the patient's own platelet-rich plasma with a gel-like substance can reduce pain and stiffness in people with moderate to severe knee osteoarthritis. About 280 participants will receive either the combination, a standard gel, or a placebo. The goal is to see if this approach offers better symptom relief without major side effects.
