What this could mean
Our plain-language read of the trial. This is informational only — not medical advice or a prediction.
Active substance
Steroid injection, dextrose prolotherapy, or platelet-rich plasma (PRP) injection
What this could lead to
If successful, this study could show which injection works best for long-term knee pain relief and function in osteoarthritis, helping guide treatment choices.
What could go wrong
This is a small, early-stage comparative study with no blinding, so results may be biased. It is not yet recruiting, and individual responses to injections vary widely.
