Blood markers may reveal hidden clues in knee arthritis
NCT ID NCT07528872
First seen Apr 22, 2026 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 4 times
Summary
This study looks at whether two substances in the blood, called COMP and MMP-3, are linked to how severe knee osteoarthritis is. Researchers will measure these levels in 60 people with and without knee arthritis and compare them to pain, function, and X-ray findings. The goal is to see if these blood tests could one day help doctors better understand or track the disease.
