First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated Apr 29, 2026 · Updated 24 times

Summary

This study tests whether a naturally occurring hormone called kisspeptin can boost reproductive hormones and help women release eggs. It involves 36 men and women with a rare condition called idiopathic hypogonadotropic hypogonadism (IHH), where the body doesn't produce enough sex hormones. Participants receive kisspeptin injections for two weeks, and researchers monitor hormone levels and egg development.
