NCT ID NCT07317518
First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026
Summary
This study compares two kinesio taping techniques for people with chronic low back pain. One method targets the fascia (connective tissue) in the lower back, while the other uses traditional muscle taping. Sixty adults will receive taping twice a week for two weeks. Researchers will measure pain, disability, and fascia thickness using ultrasound.

What this could lead to
If successful, this could show that a specific taping technique helps reduce pain and improve daily function in people with chronic low back pain.
What could go wrong
This is a small, early-stage trial with only 60 participants and no blinding, so results may not be widely applicable. The effect may be small or no better than standard taping.
