This study tests whether a special education plan using continuous ketone monitoring can lower the risk of diabetic ketoacidosis (DKA) in people with type 1 diabetes who also take SGLT2 inhibitors, a drug class that raises DKA risk. About 75 adults with type 1 diabetes will be enrolled and followed to compare the special plan to standard education. The goal is to improve safety while using these medications.
