Summary

This study tests whether a special education plan using continuous ketone monitoring can lower the risk of diabetic ketoacidosis (DKA) in people with type 1 diabetes who also take SGLT2 inhibitors. About 75 adults with type 1 diabetes will be enrolled. The goal is to see if this approach helps prevent dangerous ketone buildup compared to standard education.
