First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026
Summary
This study tests whether a ketogenic (low-carb, high-fat) or carnivore (all meat) diet can improve quality of life and reduce symptoms in adults with inflammatory bowel disease (Crohn's or ulcerative colitis) or rheumatoid arthritis. Participants are randomly assigned to one of the diets or a wait-list group for 24 weeks. The goal is to see if these diets can ease symptoms and lower inflammation.
