Summary

This study is testing whether a 16-week ketogenic diet (low carb, high fat) is safe and helpful for teens and young adults (ages 12-21) with bipolar disorder who are also taking standard medications. Researchers will track mood, thinking skills, and metabolic health to see if the diet improves symptoms. The goal is to find out if this diet is a practical and effective addition to current treatment.
