First seen Apr 01, 2026 · Last updated May 08, 2026 · Updated 8 times

Summary

This study tested whether adding propofol to ketamine reduces agitation after sedation in adults with fractures or dislocations. 150 adults were randomly assigned to receive either ketamine alone or a ketamine-propofol combination. The goal was to see if the combination leads to a calmer recovery and fewer side effects like breathing problems or low blood pressure.
