NCT ID NCT07478640
First seen Mar 31, 2026 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 6 times
Summary
This study tested a bioadhesive film made from Acmella oleracea (jambu), a natural pain-relieving plant, to see if it can reduce tooth sensitivity caused by teeth whitening with 35% hydrogen peroxide. 72 adults with good oral health took part. The film was applied to teeth after whitening, and researchers measured pain levels and color changes. The goal was to find a better way to manage whitening discomfort.
