New drug shrinks kidney tumors before surgery in early trial

Summary
This study tests a drug called ivonescimab given before surgery for high-risk kidney cancer that hasn't spread. The drug helps the immune system attack cancer and may also block blood vessel growth to tumors. About 31 people with clear cell kidney cancer will receive the drug before their surgery to see if it shrinks the tumor. The main goal is to measure how many patients have their tumor shrink or disappear.
