New italian registry aims to unlock secrets of rare heart disease

Summary
This study is creating a large online registry of 1,000 people with ATTR amyloidosis, a rare disease where abnormal proteins build up in organs. Researchers will collect information from diagnosis through follow-up to learn how the disease progresses in real life. The goal is to improve prediction of outcomes and help doctors across Italy collaborate on diagnosis and care.
