AI uncovers silent heart condition in old bone scans

NCT ID NCT06921408

First seen May 23, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026

Summary

This study looks at whether a computer model can find signs of a rare heart condition called cardiac amyloidosis in bone scans that were done for other reasons. Researchers will review past scans from 57 adults and invite those with suspicious findings for further testing. The goal is to see how often the AI correctly identifies the disease, which could lead to earlier diagnosis without extra procedures.
