Simple iron pill could stop Post-Surgery anemia

Summary
This study aims to find out if taking extra iron pills after sleeve gastrectomy weight loss surgery helps prevent iron deficiency anemia. Researchers will follow 66 patients for 6 months, comparing those who take a daily iron supplement plus a multivitamin against those who take only a multivitamin. They will check blood levels before surgery and at 3 and 6 months after to see which group has fewer cases of anemia.
