First seen Jan 07, 2026 · Last updated Apr 28, 2026 · Updated 15 times

Summary

This early-stage study tests a new treatment made from stem cells that can become nerve cells. The cells are injected into the spine of people who had a spinal cord injury 2 to 8 weeks ago. The main goal is to see if the treatment is safe and tolerable. Only 12 people will take part, and the study will also look for any signs that the treatment helps improve movement or nerve function.
