Summary

This study tests a new vaccine designed to protect infants against two serious bacterial infections: invasive nontyphoidal salmonella (iNTS) and typhoid fever. About 537 healthy infants in Africa will receive the vaccine at either 6 weeks or 6 months old. Researchers will monitor safety and measure the immune response to find the best dose and schedule.
