Smart system aims to boost cholesterol control in stroke survivors
NCT ID NCT07143149
First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026
Summary
This study tests whether a computer-based decision-support tool can help more people who have had a stroke or mini-stroke reach their LDL cholesterol goal of less than 1.8 mmol/L after one year of treatment with evolocumab. About 4,000 adults in China who recently had a non-cardioembolic stroke or TIA will take part. The goal is to see if the smart system improves cholesterol management compared to usual care.
