NCT ID NCT06462170
First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026
Summary
This study looks at how well the pancreas can produce insulin in people with type 2 diabetes. Participants drink a meal replacement shake, and blood is taken five times over two hours to measure insulin and blood sugar levels. The goal is to understand differences in insulin production and whether recent weight gain plays a role. 90 adults with type 2 diabetes who are not on insulin therapy will take part in a single visit.
