First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 14, 2026 · Updated 27 times
Summary
This study offers free genetic testing to the general public to find people with inherited cancer syndromes, like hereditary breast and ovarian cancer or Lynch syndrome. Researchers want to see if broad testing is better than only testing those with a family history. Up to 27,500 adults will take part, and the goal is to improve early detection and care.
