Inflammation clues after heart attack could predict future risks

NCT ID NCT06065514

First seen Apr 23, 2026 · Last updated May 12, 2026 · Updated 4 times

Summary

This study looked at 100 people who had a heart attack to see if certain signs of inflammation in the blood could predict who might die or develop heart failure within 6 months. Researchers measured these markers at several time points after the attack. The goal was to better understand how inflammation affects heart healing, not to test a new treatment.
