First seen May 14, 2026 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 2 times

Summary

This study looked at how indoor air quality affects breathing problems in 165 school-aged children (6-12 years old) who were born very early and have bronchopulmonary dysplasia (BPD), a chronic lung disease. Researchers measured air in the children's homes and tracked their breathing symptoms and lung function. The goal was to understand which indoor exposures might worsen their condition.
