New program aims to cut unnecessary scans for prostate cancer patients

Summary
This study tests whether a program that educates and supports doctors can help them follow national guidelines for prostate cancer imaging. About 58 VA doctors and staff took part. The goal is to reduce inappropriate scans for low-risk patients and ensure appropriate scans for high-risk patients.
