New computer model could help kids with sleep apnea avoid failed surgeries

Summary
This study aims to create a computer tool that predicts which surgery will work best for children with obstructive sleep apnea (OSA). About 120 children with persistent OSA after tonsil and adenoid removal will undergo MRI scans to build detailed models of their airways. The tool simulates airflow to compare different surgical options, helping doctors choose the most effective treatment for each child.
