First seen Feb 21, 2026 · Last updated May 19, 2026 · Updated 15 times

Summary

This study looked at how a new long-acting inhaler (PT003) affects breathing patterns in people with stable moderate-to-severe COPD. Four participants took the inhaler and had their breathing measured before, 2 hours after the first dose, and after 4 weeks of daily use. The goal was to see if the inhaler improved the complexity and variability of their breathing and lung function.
