This study compares a new imaging tracer, 68Ga-NODAGA-RGD, with standard methods (FDG-PET, MRI, ultrasound) to detect inflamed plaques in the carotid arteries. Twenty people scheduled for plaque-removal surgery will receive the tracer and undergo scans.
