First patients test new pill targeting Cancer's genetic engine
NCT ID NCT06270082
Summary
This first-in-human study tested a new oral drug called IK-595 in adults with advanced solid tumors that have specific genetic changes (in RAS or RAF genes) and no other treatment options. The main goals were to find a safe dose, see how the body processes the drug, and check for any early signs it might help control the cancer. The study was terminated after enrolling 75 participants.
