New oral cancer pill tested in patients who have run out of options
NCT ID NCT06270082
Summary
This early-stage study tested a new oral medication called IK-595 in adults with advanced solid tumors that have specific genetic changes (RAS or RAF mutations) and no remaining standard treatment options. The main goals were to find a safe dose, see how the body processes the drug, and check for any early signs that it might help control the cancer. The study was terminated early.
