Summary
This study is testing a new way to diagnose biliary atresia, a serious liver condition in newborns where bile ducts are blocked. Infants with jaundice will receive a one-time injection of a safe dye (ICG), and their diapers will be checked for a glow that indicates bile flow. The goal is to see if this simple, non-invasive test can accurately identify which babies need surgery, potentially speeding up diagnosis and treatment.
