Texting your doctor for better IBD control?

NCT ID NCT06424769

Summary

This study is testing whether regular text message check-ins and direct messaging with a medical team helps people with Crohn's disease or ulcerative colitis feel more confident managing their condition and achieve better health outcomes. It will involve 900 teenagers and adults who will receive educational texts, with some also getting symptom surveys and the ability to text their care team. Researchers want to see if this extra support leads to better disease control and fewer emergency visits over one year.
