First seen Apr 30, 2026 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 2 times

Summary

This study tracked 165 trauma patients to see how often their blood oxygen drops too low during the first 24 hours after arriving at the hospital. Researchers used a special finger clip to measure oxygen levels continuously. They wanted to find out if low-oxygen episodes happen more often at night than during the day.
