First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated Jun 14, 2026 · Updated 33 times

Summary

This study looks at whether hypnosis can help women with early-stage breast cancer relax during surgery and reduce the need for general anesthesia. About 50 women will try hypnosedation, a technique that uses words and images to keep them calm and awake while numb. The goal is to see if this approach is feasible and helps patients feel more comfortable during their procedure.
