First seen Mar 18, 2026 · Last updated Jun 11, 2026 · Updated 12 times
Summary
This study tests whether a 5-week breathing program (heart rate variability biofeedback) can reduce symptoms like belly pain and urgency in people with mild ulcerative colitis flares. Twenty-three adults will practice guided breathing exercises and be tracked for 17 weeks. The goal is to see if calming the nervous system through breathing can improve gut symptoms.
