New shot could ease sleep apnea without CPAP

Summary

This study tests an injection called HRS9531 in 140 adults with obstructive sleep apnea and obesity who do not use a CPAP machine. The goal is to see if it improves breathing during sleep and reduces weight over 52 weeks. Participants are randomly assigned to receive the drug or a placebo, and neither they nor their doctors will know which they get.
