NCT ID NCT07336134

First seen Jan 13, 2026 · Last updated Apr 25, 2026 · Updated 18 times

Summary

This study explores whether women can accurately collect their own samples to test for HPV, a virus that can cause cervical cancer. Researchers will compare self-collected samples with standard Pap smears in 120 women, mostly from underserved minority groups. If successful, this approach could make cervical cancer screening easier and more accessible for those who often miss regular checkups.
