First seen Jun 26, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026 · Updated 1 time
Summary
This study will follow 150 mothers and their babies for 6 months to see how a mother's weight and diet affect her breastmilk and her baby's growth. Researchers will measure mom's body fat, diet, and health markers, and analyze breastmilk for nutrients and immune factors. The goal is to understand how overweight or obesity in mothers might influence infant development through breastmilk.
