First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 26 times
Summary
This study tested whether a home rehabilitation program with daily physical activity tasks and heart rate monitoring could improve recovery in people who had a pulmonary embolism (a blood clot in the lungs). 32 adults who had a moderate to severe clot participated. The program was delivered via email or text and compared to usual care. The goal was to see if this approach could help patients get back to normal activity more quickly.
