NCT ID NCT07561034
First seen Jun 24, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026 · Updated 1 time
Summary
This study tests whether a 16-week home exercise program can improve daily function in 30 adults with pulmonary hypertension linked to interstitial lung disease. Participants will receive daily texts or emails with aerobic and strength exercises. Researchers will measure changes in walking distance and heart efficiency to see if the program is helpful and practical.
What this could mean
Our plain-language read of the trial. This is informational only — not medical advice or a prediction.
Active substance
Home exercise program (aerobic with or without strength training)
What this could lead to
If it works, this could show that a simple home exercise plan helps people with PH-ILD walk farther and use their heart more efficiently.
What could go wrong
This is a small, early study with only 30 people, so results may not apply to everyone. Exercise might be hard for some participants, and the program may not lead to clear improvements.
