NCT ID NCT07371858
First seen Feb 01, 2026 · Last updated Jun 02, 2026 · Updated 16 times
Summary
This study looked at whether a 12-week home exercise program could improve muscle strength, fatigue, sleep, depression, and quality of life in people aged 45 and older with advanced chronic kidney disease (stages 4-5) who are not on dialysis. 51 participants were randomly assigned to either do the exercises at home or continue their usual care. The results will help show if simple, home-based workouts can be a safe and effective way to manage common symptoms of kidney disease.
