Home transfusions aim to ease final days for blood cancer patients

Summary
This study is testing a new hospice care program that provides blood transfusions at home for patients with advanced blood cancers. The goal is to see if this program improves patients' quality of life and mood, and helps more people choose hospice care, compared to the usual standard of care. The study will involve about 700 patients and their caregivers.
