First seen Jan 29, 2026 · Last updated May 14, 2026 · Updated 8 times

Summary

This study tests whether a small, home-use electrical device placed on the ear can improve sleep quality, reduce stress, and help academic performance in health sciences students aged 18–35 with poor sleep. Sixty participants will either receive active stimulation or a placebo-like stimulation on the earlobe for 3 weeks. The goal is to see if this safe, non-invasive approach is a practical way to ease sleep problems and related anxiety.
