Home activities may ease dementia symptoms

This study tests a personalized home-based activity program for people with mild-to-moderate dementia who have behavioral and psychological symptoms. About 55 participants will receive either the activity program or routine care after leaving the hospital. The program involves family caregivers leading tailored activities twice a week for 12 weeks, with support from the research team. The goal is to see if this approach reduces symptoms like agitation and distress for both patients and caregivers.
