First seen Jan 30, 2026 · Last updated May 10, 2026 · Updated 10 times
Summary
This study looks at whether lying flat (0 degrees) or sitting up (30 degrees or more) after a clot-removal procedure helps stroke survivors recover better. About 2240 adults who had a stroke from a large blocked artery will be randomly assigned to one of two head positions. The goal is to see if head position affects disability and daily function three months later.
