Prison-Based study aims to cut HIV and overdose risk with Long-Acting meds

Summary
This study tests whether long-acting HIV prevention shots and opioid use disorder medications work well for people in prison who are close to release. About 300 adults will receive these treatments and be followed to see how well they stick with them and whether they reduce HIV risk and overdose. The goal is to improve health and prevent disease after release.
